Qualifications:
-Knowledge of TN MCD eligibility requirements for LTC Medicaid coverage -Experience with TN Medicaid billing and application process.
-Experience with Private Pay collection -Knowledge/experience with Managed Care/Medicare billing -Ability to read and understand managed care contracts -Knowledge of resident trust fund policies -Ability to communicate with all co-workers, management, and outside vendors/providers professionally and effectively -Must be organized and detail oriented - Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines -Ability to work independently Job Duties:
-Maintain daily census -Assist families with Medicaid application and renewal process -Verify Insurance Benefits for both inpatient skilled nursing and Part B/outpatient therapy -Daily Bank deposits -Private Pay and Medicaid collections -Resolving patient accounts accurately and timely -Manage A/R Aging and issue refunds/write offs timely -Generate and mail monthly statements/Quarterly Trust statements -Sorting facility mail - Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette - Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping Job Type:
