COST ACCOUNTANTCost Accountant needed for a mid-sized manufacturing company located near Johnson City, Tennessee.
This is a direct hire position with a competitive pay and benefits package.
Starting salary range is $70,000 to $80,000 depending on experience, education, and training.
Job Description:
Responsible for establishing product manufacturing costs, valuation of inventory and preparation of budget and forecasts.
Responsibilities will include:
Product costing, standard cost updates, analysis of cost variance, and preparation of cost reportsHandling inventory accounting, reporting, and reconciliationsPerforming month-end closing activities and ensuring financial accounting related to revenue and costing is completed in a timely and accurate mannerAnalyzing reports and tools that identify cost exceptions and working with cross-function teams to predict and improve the cost of productionKey RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting3
years of Cost Accounting experience.
You are well versed in the MS Office suite.
Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, or similar accounting software is a plus.
You are a strong team player, organized, and possess high attention to detail.
You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
