Summary Description of Job:
The primary functions of this jobs are the analysis of needs for all required and elective training and the development, presentation, and documentation of the training resulting from those needs. Training includes, but is not limited, leadership/management, safety, security, material control & accountability, manufacturing/production, computer skills, and professional development. Population includes all employees of NFS, as well as visitors and to the NFS facility. Major Duties &
Responsibilities:
1. Determine and analyze training needs for all segments of the company. 2. Develop plans, procedures, and programs to meet specific training needs and/or address problems. 3. Select, train, and supervise the training staff. 4. Facilitate and serve as a member of the Senior Training Advisory Committee composed of Senior Management. 5. Process and monitor all off-site training requests. 6. Responsible for administration of training systems plant-wide which provide for effective and efficient identification and documentation of training. 7. Incorporation of adult learning theories and interactive training techniques to program elements. 8. Assess key performance indicators, maintain budgets, and establish strategic/operational plans to support organization goals. 9. Serve as Subject Matter Expert to numerous project teams working on improvements to systems and/or processes. 10. Liaison with other companies and educational entities to stay informed of new training developments and courses, as well as, to expertise. Education:
B.A./B.S. -- Business Administration or related field. Experience Requirements (Beyond educational or equivalent):
Six - eight years of experience.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
