Victim Advocate - Full time 2nd shift

4pm-Midnight weekdays with rotating on call schedule.
Experience in the domestic violence or social work field are strongly preferred.
Duties are as follows:
Provide emotional support and advocacy to survivors of domestic violence Provide trauma informed direct services Ensure the safe house is a safe, therapeutic environment Maintain confidentiality for all clients Answer & respond to incoming crisis calls on a rotating basis Record and complete documentation of all crisis calls Assist in processing new shelter residents in compliance with policies and procedures.
Supervise transportation of clients Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of shelter to include organization of supplies Assist with and participate in agency events, as needed Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director Must be organized, self motivated and able to multi task.
Light cleaning of the safe house is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
