1 dayshift and 1 nightshift advocate for weekends.
Days:
8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday Nights:
8pm-8am Saturday and Sunday night into Monday morning.
Experience in the domestic violence or social work field are strongly preferred.
Must have a valid TN driver's license and have a good driving record.
Must pass a background/ drug screening.
Duties are as follows:
Keep all client and shelter information confidential Provide trauma informed direct services to victims of domestic violence Responsible for organization of supplies for shelter Adhere to health and safety protocols Take the hotline on a rotating basis and answer crisis calls Record and complete documentation of all crisis calls Assist in processing new shelter residents in compliance with policies and procedures Transport client as needed Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of shelter to ensure a safe environment.
Cleaning and lifting an average of 15 pounds to include carrying supplies upstairs is required Assist with and participate in agency events, as requested Perform other duties as assigned The candidate will work well in a team setting, be self motivated and organized.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and have basic computer skills.
