Duties:
- Assist patrons with locating and checking out library materials - Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the integrated library system - Conduct research and provide reference assistance to patrons - Organize and shelve library materials in accordance with established procedures - Assist with inventory management and collection development activities - Process interlibrary loan requests and maintain appropriate documentation - Provide basic software troubleshooting support to patrons using library computers or personal devices - Assist with library programs and events as needed
Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
-Previous experience in a library or customer service role is a plus.
- Familiarity with integrated library systems and data collection processes is a plus - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Office Suite - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication and interpersonal skills This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and community-oriented environment.
