- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians - Monitor and record patient vital signs - Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures - Provide wound care and dressings - Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and preventive measures - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and progress - Ensure compliance with infection control protocols - Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks and Athenahealth for documentation and communication purposes Skills:
- Proficient in performing aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment - Knowledge of sonography techniques for diagnostic purposes - Familiarity with neonatal ventilators and their operation - Ability to provide health coaching to patients for lifestyle modifications - Understanding of coding procedures for accurate billing and reimbursement - Physical ability to lift and move patients when necessary - Experience in ophthalmology settings is a plus Note:
