Accounts Payable

Provide accounting support for the Johnson City based client and function as a member of the management team. The perfect candidate must be very confidential with information, deadline driven,dependable, can adapt to all personalities and have experience handling AP/AR, bookkeeping, reconciliation, reports-weekly/monthly.


Other job duties include, prepare bank deposit, maintain an accurate and complete books and reconciles the account monthly to the bank statement and monthly financial reports. Prepare financial records for the annual audit and performs necessary procedures to ensure that the individual school funds are collected and disbursed in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws. Performs all accounting functions related to the school and performs other duties and accepts responsibilities.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

An Associates or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

2+ year of experience in bookkeeping/accounting

Intermediate to advanced experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft based products

Discreet with confidential employee and customer information

Ability to perform independently while working in a team environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
